Paco Rabanne Celebrates Fearless Women with Olympea Flora

Honoring the fabulously fierce, supremely confident, and gloriously sexy.

Paco Rabanne is out to redefine our definition of fearless. Specifically in pop culture, the word is often ascribed to Taylor Swift’s Grammy Award Winning Album, Fearless. Well, the tables are being turned now with the emergence of the Olympea Flora. A new eau de parfum which translates to ‘The Floral Goddess’. Feminine yet fabulously fierce, supremely confident, and gloriously sexy. Paco Rabanne’s newest fragrance embodies all that.

Taking things up a notch, the campaign is further endorsed by the fearless Dutch-born supermodel Luna Bijl. Chosen in part due to her athletic prowess in motocross riding and kickboxing, Bijl joins the crew in the likes of Elle Fanning to front famous Paco Rabanne fragrances.

The Power Of Flowers

Though this one, in particular, is nothing like before. Paco Rabanne’s Olympea Flora consists of two divine facets — dangerous yet mysterious. Perfumers Fanny Bal and Nelly Hachem impeccably interpreted them through blending notes of fruits, flowers, and woods to form “a divine chypre scent”, the most elegant of fragrance families.

The concoction begins with an overdose of fresh pink roses and peonies in full bloom, starring two stellar rose extracts. Then, slowly and carefully some delectable blackcurrant sorbet accords seep into the lush floral bouquet before being wrapped in smooth, salty vanilla. Velvety patchouli is added into the mix as well to enhance and reflect the fierce femininity of the Flower Goddess. For the final touch, a long-lasting trail of musky cashmere wood for a hint of elegance and mystery.

A Vibrant Match Of Black And Rose

In a bold departure from its previous renditions, Olympea Flora’s flacon dresses up in black to reveal the vibrant, rose-tinged hue of the fragrance. And adorning the luxurious rounded glass of the bottle is a molded black orchid flower and tropical leaves. Glossy black wings of laurel framed the bottle, topped by a smooth, shiny black cap with a touch of radiant gold. At the base, a pop of pin flashes catches the light, enhancing the perfume’s intense rose hue.

Elegant, fierce, and unquestionably fit for a goddess. If you share the same energy, come get your hands on the scent by heading over to ZALORA Philippines today. Priced at Php 6,350.00 for 80ml.
