6 new travel-sized lipsticks, inspired by 6 countries close to Anne Curtis-Heussaff’s heart
When blk cosmetics first launched last year, it quickly became a makeup favorite — not just here in the Philippines, but all around the world. Filipinas brought their new favorite lippies as they traveled to or lived in different countries around the world, sharing their finds on Instagram with the hashtag #blktravels.
Inspired by blk users’ “collective wanderlust”, blk’s Creative Director Anne Curtis-Heussaff put together a #blktravels collection — three sets with two lipsticks shades each, making for a total of six new lipstick shades, all inspired by countries around the world. All the shades come in blk’s signature All-Day Intense Matte formulas, and are travel-sized to make it even more convenient to bring them around.
The best part? A portion of the proceeds from each set will benefit the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Philippines + Australia
This set represents Anne’s two homes.
Australia, named for the country where she was born, is a muted red, perfect for those days when you want some low-key glam. Philippines, on the other hand, is a rich brown inspired by the beaches and islands of our country that will look amazing on Filipina skin tones.
New Zealand + South Africa
This set represents Anne’s wedding and honeymoon with her husband, Erwan Heussaff.
New Zealand, a nude pink, is one of the two bridal shades that Anne wore to her Queenstown wedding. It’s sweet and subtle, in contrast to South Africa, a deeper red that evokes the romantic adventures of Anne and Erwan’s honeymoon destination.
Hong Kong + Dubai
This set is a tribute to the thousands of Filipino OFWs around the world.
blk says that the berry-hued Hong Kong symbolizes “the sweetness of success, the joy of homecoming, and the valor born out of sacrifice” — a perfect tribute to the Filipinos who live and work in one of the world’s busiest cities. Similarly, rose-colored Dubai is perfect for a city and region that’s emblematic of modern luxury, powered by unsung heroes in the Filipino OFWs.
