blk cosmetics made a splash in the local beauty scene since it first launched, thanks in part to its co-creator, style icon Anne Curtis — and it keeps following up with special collections that add to its lineup: the Bridal collection, the Valentine’s Day collection, and now the K-Beauty collection, inspired by Anne’s love for Korean dramas.
Unlike the last two collections, which were limited to new lippie shades, blk’s latest drop includes four completely new products: a lip-and-cheek tint, a creamy cheek paint, a BB+CC stick, and a liquid eyeshadow, all in a range of different shades. We’ll give you the low-down on each one:
All-Day Lip & Cheek Water Tint

One of the things we like about blk is how versatile its products are, and this double-duty formula is no exception. Swipe it on to add some natural flush to your cheeks or a your-lips-but-better tint to your pout. It comes in four shades — Red, Cherry, Pink, and Orange — so you can match it with any skin tone or look. The watery tint goes on a bit sheer at first, but is easily buildable if you need more intense color.
Creamy Cheek Paint

If you’re not a fan of the formula of the lip & water cheek tint, try this creamy cheek paint instead. It’s still liquid, but with a silkier texture and subtler pigmentation than the tint, coming in Peach and Strawberry shades. It’s also super easy to use — just use the applicator to pat onto your cheeks, then blend with your fingers.
BB+CC Cream Stick

This is the perfect base makeup for your summer vacays — it’s lightweight and does double-duty, giving you both the blemish coverage of a BB cream and the color correcting powers of a CC cream. There are only three shades — ivory beige, light beige, and natural beige — but it’s easy to blend in the color, thanks to the brush on the other end of the convenient stick packaging. It’s also infused with goodies like shea butter, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E to treat your skin!
Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow

Finally, it wouldn’t be a blk cosmetics drop with more shades of their signature lippies! The K-Beauty collection features three new shades of the creamy All-Day Intense Matte Lipstick: My Love (a peachy shade), Beautiful (a mauve pink), and Honey (a berry red). Like all the other shades in this lippie line, the formula is creamy and non-drying.
