Inthe recent years, we first witnessed the comeback of the clear heel when Kanye West dropped his YEEZY Season 7 collection, featuring an iconic full-transparent pair of open-toed heels that Kim Kardashian later popularized. While some weren’t too stoked about the unusual design, many trendsetters and celebrities alike donned the faux au natural look in the name of fashion.

This month, we’ve been seeing a resurgence in the trend, but this time with our local stars dipping their foot (figurately and literally!) in different variations of the clear-strapped sandals. Here are a few ways they’ve been styling them:

Martine Ho

Sunnies Studios’ creative director and all-around it-girl, Martine Ho, was recently spotted donning clear heels to with a casual fit to create a strict focus on her black-white-pink color scheme.

Bea Soriano Dee

Fellow Sunnies co-founder and style icon, Bea Soriano Dee, was giving us extreme ’60s vibes with her vintage pastel look. While ladies sporting the long dress trend back then could only choose from pumps or flats to match their outfits with, Bea is using her clear heels to elongate her legs without visually cutting off her height with some sort of visible strap.

Sunnies girls really know how to put a trend in motion — yet another famed member of the Sunnies empire, Georgina Wilson, has been spotted giving her clear heels a formal twist, this time in the form of classic close-toed pumps.
