While there are tons of color combinations out there, a wise and easy way to look great is to pick colors that are right for the current season. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall each have a unique palette that you can take advantage of and get inspiration from.
To help you, we’ve come up with color palettes divided per season that you can use when picking out your outfit for whatever season it is today.

SUMMER
Warm colors are the stars of this season. Pull up all your bright colored clothing and skin baring outfits splashed with reds, yellows, and earthy tones.

Experiment with a bit of cool tones that can pass off as summer hues like eye-popping blues that’s as striking as hot red. While making use of a timeless white dress, you can always embellish and accessorize with colorful beads and accessories in bold colors.

Without having to venture into sunny yellow hues, you can try out vibrant blues and greens that complement the sky and healthy greenery on a sun shiny day. Throw in a pinch of nude colors to balance out the intense bright colors.
SPRING
Spring is all about finesse and blooming. Think pastel palettes and soft colors. Take note of colors from flowers and other blooms like pinks, purples, and a bit of nude.

Florals are never a cliché for spring. While incorporating this classic print into your wardrobe, you can play around with a number of color combinations like crimson and violet, orange and moss plus a dominating faded pastel powder blue.

If not pastels, you can go for faded colors like mauve paired with neutral colors like beige, tan and grey. To contrast the fade, you can add an eye popping green into the mix so you have something that can grab the audience’s attention.
FALL
It’s time to go dark (or maybe just a little bit). Colors for fall are usually still strong in hue. Imagine your bright colors brought into a few darker coats.

It’s a musky forest tone rich in dark green and nudes. Match your black and greys with a splash of orange-y brown and beige for a calming and relaxing color palette. When in doubt, go for dark blue green tones and soft browns that can match the breezy winds of fall and earthy tones of fallen dried and aging leaves.

You don’t have to go all black and all dark just yet. You can mix in different shades of maroon like rosewood and burgundy that go well with greys, faded browns and other neutral tones like black and white.
WINTER
Everyone knows that this season is home to cool tones like icey blue and this year’s pantone: serenity.

This is the perfect opportunity to utilize your love for neutrals. Gather all that you can in this color family ranging from black and white up to different shades of grey. For a sudden pop of color, blood red and dark hues like navy blue also work well for the winter season.

When stuck in a color rut, go for fully faded colors like brick red, taupe, or desaturated cyan. It also helps to include one or two warm colors so that you have an eye-catching color detail to every look.
Never underestimate the power of color. Sometimes, all you need is a perfectly combined set of colors to bring out the shine and style in your outfit. When in doubt of which fashion trend to get into or how to stand out in a crowd, implore the help of color-coding and style your way up with the help of sure-winner palettes.
