10 THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD HAVE IN HER PURSE

BY TONI QUIOGUE

Our everyday lives are filled with heaps of unforeseen circumstances. To help you overcome ANY and EVERY situation that might come your way, we’ve rounded up 10 purse essentials (aside from the obvious wallet, phone and keys that is)!

10 THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD HAVE IN HER PURSE

1. Oil blotting sheets — Depending on different factors, (weather, amount of make-up you have on, oily skin, etc) your face can produce excess oil throughout the day. To make sure your face stays fresh, matte and shine free, keep oil blotting sheets in your purse! These thin absorbent sheets do a great job of removing excess oil from your skin.

2. Make-up palette — For quick-touch ups on the go, stash a pretty all-in-one make-up palette in your purse. (If your palette comes with a built-in mirror, you can skip no. 6 on this list).

3. Mints –Coffee can be extremely drying on the mouth. Dry mouth leads to bad breath. Know anyone who thinks bad breath is a turn-on? We thought so. To help keep coffee breath at bay, pop a couple of breath mints for fresh breath.

*Pro Tip: Tests reveal that Starbucks mints (which contain Sorbitol) kept bad breath away for a longer period of time.

4. Messy hair fixers — Hair ties and bobby pins. I always wear one on my wrist and carry a few extra ones in my purse.

5. Power bank — The last thing you’d want while out and about is for your phone to die on you. With a portable charger in tow, you can say goodbye to asking restaurant servers for a charge. (eep!)

6. Mirror — For someone who wears dental braces, having a mirror to check for stuck food becomes a ritual. But even for the non-braced face, mirrors still come in super handy especially when you need to do a double-take to make sure your make-up is on point.

7. Hand sanitizer –To protect yourself and anyone else you come into contact with from spreading yucky bacteria.

8. Wipes — Cleansing wipes are a girl’s best friend!

9. Sanitary Pads — It never hurts to prepared for when Mother Nature decides to pay you a visit.

10. Pen — Sure you have your smart phone for when you need to jot information down. But what about filling out those custom forms when traveling?

Lastly, to avoid any clutter, do compartmentalize all these essentials in cute zippered (preferably see through) pouches. Not only will organizing make it easier for you to find stuff, it also allows for you to swiftly transfer all your essentials when switching bags!
