Here are 5 must-have flight apps to help you spend less on your next vacation.

1. Cebu Pacific

How can you not download the app of the most well-known budget airline? With Cebu Pacific constantly shelling out piso fares and other promos almost year-round, it’s difficult not to scroll upon an ad online with their promo (with a witty, travel-related and current events-related pun as the headline). So the next time you see one on Facebook or Twitter, make sure you have this app. It lets you book flights through the app, so you never have to go through the hassle of using your phone’s browser or running around looking for a computer to use.

Hailed by Skytrax as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline for eight years straight, and winner of two World Travel Awards for the year, AirAsia is undoubtedly one to look out for when it comes to low-cost budget flights. Through their app, which you could also book flights on, you’ll be able to get notifications for when a promo is ongoing, especially if you’re part of their BIG Loyalty Programme, where they shell out promos more often for members. What’s more — their app is seamless, with a beautifully designed, easy to use UI that makes booking flights as easy as if they were made on an actual computer.

If you want an all-in-one app to hunt for the cheapest airfare, check out SkyScanner, a popular app known for its simple, easy-to-use, and well-designed interface. It also notifies you of any price drop, so you never miss a promo.
