Who’s the right choice?

It’s funny when you think about it. Never in a million years would you have thought that you’d end up here. Looking back to a year ago, you were obsessed with someone who wouldn’t give you light of day, and now here you are. Stuck in-between two guys that actually like you. Isn’t it funny how life works?

TIME
You find yourself giving up your time for the person you love, cancelling your plans and taking them to lunch, but then you realize that the one who loves you is doing the exact same thing for you.

The person who loves you will put in the effort. They’ll arrange dates and create surprises, but you notice that the other doesn’t even try. Why would they? They’re not obligated.

While the two of you may have mutual respect for one another, you’d find that when it comes to the basics, like promises or common courtesy, one wins over the other.
TRUST
Trust doesn’t mean much to the person you love, because they aren’t expecting anything from you. It’s the person who loves you who craves your trust. For you to trust them with your heart.
Across all points, you’ve found that we’ve basically said the same thing. You will always be receiving more from the person who loves you than the person you love. We can’t even argue that the tables may be turned if you’re in love with your best friend, because should they be in their own relationship, you’re given the short end of the stick.
