Men, take some notes.

If you have not noticed by now, a lot of male celebrities are wearing jewelry nowadays. The trend has been going on for quite some time but now, it is becoming more specific. That is why you see people like Harry Styles, Lil Nas X, Johnny Depp, and many more rocking men’s jewelry effortlessly on the red carpet.
So, to get in on the trend, there are a couple of do’s and don’ts to wearing men’s jewelry. Follow these steps and you are sure to give off maximum swag when wearing jewelry for men.

DO’S
1. FIND YOUR METAL
When it comes to jewelry, there are only two main materials you can wear: gold or silver. Gold tends to work with a warm complexion while silver works best with cool tones. Do not go wearing both at the same time, only stick to one. A couple of occasional blacks or rose gold is okay though.

2. MINIMAL AT BEST
We know that you want to show off in your coolest iciest jewelry but refrain from that. Instead, choose one that is minimal with simple designs that do not overwhelm your entire look. You want to keep your jewelry game subtle.

DON’TS
1. OVER-BLING
Too much bling is never a good thing. It will not look good in photos due to the excessive shine and it will only attract the wrong attention that you do not need. Pieces of jewelry that you thought would enhance your overall look only happen to become a robber’s dream with all those diamonds around you.
2. WEAR EVERYTHING
So, you have jewelry for your ears, neck, wrists, and fingers, but that does not mean you should wear all of them at once. Stick to only one per outfit; something that would compliment it in a sense. That way, you can maintain a sleek but expensive look.
