Q: How do I remove a gel manicure? A: To safely remove a gel manicure and minimize damage to your natural nails be sure to use the following instructions. Never pick or peel off a gel manicure as this can cause damaged, weak nails.
- First, using a medium grit file, file away the top shiny layer of your gel manicure. - Apply genius remover to the cotton pad in a foil remover wrap and wrap around the nail with the cotton pad on the nail and let soak for 10-15 minutes. - Remove the foil remover wrap and using a Cuticle Pusher &amp; Remover, gently push the gel off of the nail. If the gel doesn&acirc;&euro;&trade;t come off easily, continue to soak for an additional 5 minutes. You should not have to use force to remove the gel material. - After removal, file your nails to the desired length and shape and lightly buff the surface of the nail if necessary.
